Sony’s most anticipated new console is set for launch in the U.S. and select countries on November 12 and in Europe, Asia, South America, and the rest of the world on November 19. While the unit is already available for pre-order at select retailers, we cannot help wondering about the deals offered for this fresh console during the Black Friday 2020 event.
PS5 – Current Price and Black Friday 2020 Predictions
The new console from Sony with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be available for $499.99 once it is launched, while the PS5 Digital Edition will be priced at $399.99. Both of them are packed with 4K graphics, high-speed SSD, as well as similar CPU and GPU units. However, considering these retail prices, we expect the units to come with a DualSense Wireless controller.
Sony’s PS5 is included in Best Buy’s Black Friday 2020 ad, and according to the information provided, the product will be available only online and in limited quantities. Some retailers have already sold out all PS5 units available for pre-order. Even if the console itself is not discounted, accessories and games that are compatible with it might be paired with price cuts.
Even if in some cases the new console is no longer available for pre-order, when it is back in stock, you can pre-order Sony’s PS5 at the following retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.
Accessories that you can pair with the console once you get it are also available for pre-order as follows:
- DualSense Wireless Controller for $69 at Amazon
- PULSE 3D Wireless Headset PS5 for $99 at Best Buy
- DualSense Charging Station for $29 at Target
- PS5 HD Camera is $59 at Best Buy
Although the new console and the accessories designed specifically to work with it may not see any discounts or significant price drops during the Black Friday event, Sony’s new console is said to work with many PS4 games and accessories, some of which are likely to be considerably discounted during this year’s Black Friday.
